"securewrap" service at EWR?

Hi, I am not really sure where to post this, but I am wondering if there is some sort of service at Newark where they "wrap" your suitcases in plastic wrap (we wanted to use 3 old suitcases and leave them at our destination, but dont want them to tear en route) they have this service at JFK, its called "secure wrap"
I called the "secure wrap" corporation, and they thought "newark" and "new york" were the same thing...the guy manning the phones on sunday didnt really seem to know what he was talking about...

any info would be really helpful!
thanks

I believe the service exists in Terminal B at EWR. I have never seen it in Terminals A or C.

Even if it does exist, what when the TSA decides they want to look inside your wrapped suitcase? That's $10 and a few minutes you just wasted....

DEN used to have this service near the UA counters.. Looked like it got some business, but seems to have disappeared.

OP, might be best to FedEx your suitcases ahead. You could insure them, and pack them with plenty of support..

I rarely check in bags, so the 10 minutes wasted doesnt matter. and 10 dollars is a small price to pay vs buying a nice new suitcase (even the real garbage ones arent less than 50 bucks) that we are going to leave with someone when we get there. if it doesn't work, it doesnt work, but I just feel like since its a one way gig (the bags being left there), if they tear it open, then I lost 10 dollars. and if not, hopefully it would increase my chcances of my stuff getting there intact.

The securewrap website shows they are only at Kennedy.

There is (or was, I have not checked recently) a luggage storage facility at Newark, if anybody will have wrapping, they probably would, I'd give them a call and see if they have a clue.

The company is called NBS Storage and Delivery and they have a desk at Carousel #1 Arrivals level, at Newark International Airport. They don't have a web site, so if you need additional information, call them at (908) 933-0503. They open at 7am and close at 1am.
