Name error clarification

Guys, Am leaving shortly on a RTW ticket, ticketed by UAL. However my illustrious travel agent made an error in my booking and added a middle initial to my name (i have none).

Called united they said that they've corrected the details in the secure flight details and sent a message to NH/SQ/LX/LH on the other flights.

The only way to fix it is it seems to reissue ticket.

Am I going to be ok with what ual is saying or should i get my travel agent to reissue the ticket? I might not get all the sectors. This is a paid CRWSTAR1 ticket.

Thanks.

Enjoy your trip, and don't worry. A supplemental character/typo of this nature is a common occurrence and generally does nothing more to cause headaches than perhaps an agent having to pull up your record using the record locator and/or ticket info instead of a swipe of the passport.

Was the supplemental character a vowel by any chance? If not, there's even less reason to worry.

Is it my imagination or is one 'allowed' up to three typos?

Referring to the IATA standard for typos on tickets has a real basis.
