Ha ... isn't it great to carry additional passport(s) from (an) other country(s) ... it usually saves a lot of visa-fees and other hassles .. :D

It is especially great to have one western passport and one from an ex-USSR country. This combination will give you almost unlimited access to most countries in the world (except India) It could also save space due to visas to the countries that require visas for all nationalities.

Also, to the OP: no, there is no single exhaustive register or database of people who are US citizens because there has never been a comprehensive tie-up of domestic birth certificate databases, and there are people who are US citizens from birth who are not born in the US.

That's right.

... and there are many people who never were issued a birth certificate but are natural-born US citizens as a result of being born in the US.

... and there are some US citizens who never were issued a proper birth certificate and may neither have been born in the US nor born to US citizen parents abroad yet are US citizens because such persons were found abandoned in the US at a very young age and their origins could not be ascertained.

Seems hilarious to me that people keep chiming in to "correct" statements that have already been corrected, and by ME before any of the correctors managed to notice the point. Must be a universal human urge to lecture.

I have no idea what you're on about. If you're going to make claims, name names.

LuvAirFrance Apr 9, 2010 9:38 pm

Yeh, I bet you would. Just can't get thru a day without flaming someone?

König Apr 9, 2010 11:13 pm

LuvAirFrance, you just have to accept all these corrections (without quotation marks) because you made some bizarre statements and showed the total lack of understanding how dual citizenship works with respect to US and other countries laws (e.g. India).

LuvAirFrance Apr 9, 2010 11:59 pm

Hey, why should I "accept corrections" that are merely a result of no one being willing to actually READ the foregoing messages? Mere laziness isn't a legitimate justification for people to repeat the same old garbage over and over. Not only that, but the "correctors" also seem not willing to read official websites that refute, to some degree, what they are saying. They are just blindly preaching because I guess they like to hear themselves do it.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about or who you're referring to. I am not flaming you.

Who are the blind preachers? Who's correcting which statements that have already been corrected by you?

What is that? It makes no sense! All this "Shake and Bake", it's nonsense!

No - I don't think communication is his strong point. Best to ignore him - he'll go away.

When did the draft re-start?

Silly - if you have to ask, you're not a "real citizen"!

Yes being you, and the member you note joined at the same time

To the OP, as half a dozen have written already, the U.S. states you must enter on your U.S. passport.

Ciao,
