What Federal 'crimes' is he committing? If the OP wants to travel anonymously, I applaud the effort - I believe everyone should have the right to conduct their personal affairs anonymously if they so choose. It's nobody's business where I'm going or why I'm going there.
Studentff's suggestions are the easiest and best way to pull this off - I would add that the valid name and fake name tickets should be for the same flight, in case there is an additional ID check from the TSA at the gate.
