Terminal Dump Process

Apologies if this has been answered in the past. I was going to put this in today's JFK evacuation thread, but it is more of a general question related to all security breaches. Mods, please move if you feel necessary.

When TSA decides to dump the terminal, do they make airport employees get rescreened too? I'm talking McDonald's staff, janitors, maintenance personnel, gate agents, etc. If not, seems like AQ might decide to infiltrate airport restaurants next. Just take your contraband through the exit, put on your Cinnabon shirt and grab a cup of coffee. If TSA asks while dumping the terminal, just say you are on break.

I know there is already a layer in place to stop Mr. Bad Guy from hiding his weapon in the closest potted plant. Hopefully they have a layer for this too.

it wouldn't surprise me one bit if airport workers, and perhaps even airline employees, would not be dumped as the tsa is so effed up that they can't do the same sop twice at two different airports (and remember kids, the "s" in sop stands for "standard")

In theory they should but we all know better than that.

Airport employees don't get screened (some not at all, others not to the same level as passengers) in the FIRST place, so why would the TSA re-screen them after a terminal dump. If AQ wants to infiltrate Cinnabon, they can get anything they want into the terminal.

Is there? I doubt it.

Let's be honest: if TSA were running hospitals*, the operating theatres would be considered "sterile" if the patient had washed his hands, while doctors, nurses, and the cleaning crew would be allowed in with no requirement to wash up or wear masks, because "they work here."
*And at this rate, I give it until 2013 at the latest...

Sorry, from the thread title I thought this was a discussion on eating too much chili. :p:p

And, operations would be done randomly and not based on an actual diagnosis.

Are all airport workers screened when they first entered the sterile areas?

If not why would they get screened when a terminal is dumped?

Most employee's of Retail shops in the terminal are screened but if an Airline employee has Sida clearance then they are allowed to enter through what is basically a back door. I know during one eight hour shift, over 800 people would pass through security "the back door" without being screened.

Sort of like having a bank vault door set up in a parking lot.
