Security Breach-->AAHHHH!!!!

Educate me. Why is it absoutely necessary to shut down the WHOLE terminal just because of a security breach? Are there any terrorists ? drunk person? retarded people? What are the benefits for shut down due to security breach? I personally think it is beyond ridiculous to shut down the terminal just because the TSA employee(s) forgot to screen a passenger(s) or see someone going the wrong way when exiting the sterile area??? FTW? Whose idea was to shut down the terminal if there's a security breach? Was it our former president George W. Bush's idea? :mad::td:

When in trouble, when in doubt
Run in circles, scream and shout.

I seriously doubt it was GWB who wrote TSA's SOP. It probably was written with little thought to the repercussions of dumping a terminal, mid winter, limited access, etc. Like much of what TSA does, at first glance it looked good on paper.

My God. Can we stop blaming Bush for EVERYTHING?? He was a putz, for sure. But this comment is silly. Obama's been in office for almost a year now. If any president is responsible for this decision, it's Obama. But I don't think Obama is to be blamed either. No president oversees every detail of governement policy.

"Anything for security" :rolleyes:

The more they do this kind of stunt, the more they look like buffoons. It does not go unnoticed.

Or as a local radio station put it recently in a poll: "What will it take for you to feel secure?". Note that it's not "be secure", it's "feel secure".

What was the result of that poll?
