He would be the first one blown out the open door by the rushing air. Even if he was strong enough to open the door and was thus strong enough to hang on to the handle, there is no oxygen mask to drop down for him and he will pass out in 15 seconds and drop anyway.

As stated above, the physics wouldn't allow this. However, one does not need to be a terrorist to try. This past April I was on a DL flight NRT-ATL mid-Pacific at cruising altitude, when a demented old lady decided she wanted off, went to the exit door and tried to fiddle with it. Two passengers grabbed her, followed by flight attendants. She was semi-restrained as much as possible for the rest of the flight, though she shrieked periodically. She had no competent travelling companion with her. Un-friggin believable.

This actually could have consequences... depending on the type of plane and which exit was being opened.

For most main exits the door would open and the slide would deploy, although if the aircraft was at speed then the slide would probably be quickly damaged and deflate, or possibly be sucked into an engine.

For overwing exits on the 737 and A320 (as an example) it would generally mean the shut-down of the engine and the flaps being lowered (flaps lowered so you can slide off the wing edge to safety rather than having to jump). On some aircraft such as the A320 the engine would be shut down, the flaps lowered and the slide deployed.

In any event if this managed to happen then there would be significant cost and delay while the slide had to be repacked.

He'd have to have the strength of the Hulk to be able to open the door as there is several tonnes of air pressure keeping if firmly closed. And TSA profiling would have detected anyone "flying when green" :D

At about 8.5 psi differential, x the square inches of the door, exactly how strong of a person do you think would be able to do that?

But what if he boarded as Dr. David Banner, a middle aged, average looking, well educated, white American? Way outside the profile. He could change to the hulk in the lav. An added bonus is that since the Hulk's pants always managed to stretch enough for modesty, his possible underwear bomb would not be discovered. Probably better to go for the flight deck door if you have super strength - less windy.

And if he managed to board the same aircraft as the Lizard People from Atlantis, his soft and well-manicured hands would be supple enough to let go off the door just before it was ripped from his hands by the wind once he got it open. Yay!
