AA offer: 5k 1st month, 1k next 5 months

folks,

got a flyer in the mail which seems identical to the United one posted a few days ago for up to 10k AA miles:

it's for MCI's 7 cents/min anytime plan for $3.95/month. offer expires 12/31/01

call 800-338-0125. if they ask for an Enrollment Code, it's: 898/BJN ZA4Q.

i'm guessing they'll have a 10k offer for Delta soon as well (please post it of you get it!).

United is better as they convert 2 to 1 to hilton so you can get 20,000 HHonors points :-)

Thanks for the info! I'll try it out as I am trying to rack up AA miles.

I received a targeted mailing/enrollment form, but it has an enrollment number of 1-800-215-2920 (12/31/01 expiry) Code appears to be 898/0IE ZD4Q.

Thanks a lot Pete. I called that # and they signed me up. They didn't ask fo a code, they already knew what I wanted.

We'll see if I get the miles. I have heard a lot of horror stories about MCI, but I have always gotten my miles from them (even with the calling card!).

Thanks Pete. I signed up with them today with no problem. I didn't even need the code. They knew the exact offer I was calling for.

We'll see if I get the miles. I have always gotten my miles from MCI (even though I have read all the horror stories). I even got the miles with the calling card!

cactus pete or anyone else:

If you could post the terms and conditions of Delta's latest offer or email/mail/fax them to me, I would be grateful.

Thanks in advance. Happy Holidays

Anybody receive the 5,000 miles yet?

Mike M Jan 3, 2002 2:27 pm

Just signed both me and my wife up today for 2 telephone numbers. I called 2 separate times to prevent any mixups.

First time I called 800/338-0125 the gentleman answered by stating the 10k Aadvantage/MCI promo. The second time I called another gentleman answered "advertising" the Delta Skymiles promotion. I told him I wanted AA miles and he obliged.

Although MCI is problematic I have always gotten my promised miles from them. I hope that proves true with this promotion.

Has anyone gotten the promised "within 30 days 5k will be given and then an additional 1k for the next 5 months"?

They did not mention the expiration of this promotion either.

Whats your experience with this specific promo?

Mike

I switched FROM MCI in mid Dec and they finally called to woo me back. It usually only takes 1 week so they are getting slower. I was offered the standard 5,000 miles but said a friend got 10,000. He checked with a supervisor and said OK. He said he had to reboot the computer and would call back tomorrow. Seemed wierd but its his commission. The offer must be preset and they need to do something to override it.

I asked for an enrollment code but he wouldn't give me one. We will see what posts.

They called back 2 nights later and said 5K - take it or leave it. My wife took the call so I couldn't grill them. I'll wait for the letter, it may be a sweeter offer.

My 5K posted to AA last week as ¨1st 5K installment of 10K offer¨. I signed up Dec 7th.

This offer is still valid. I tried to sign up for the 5,000 miles offer and the CSR said that their was a 10K offer still open. I also was a current long distance and local MCI customer (although not receiving aa miles at the time) and they still gave it to me.

Call and check it out!
