New No Fee / No Minimum MCI Calling Plan
 

I just switched back to MCI to get the 10K bonus miles. I found a new plan that has no monthly fee or minimun. There is a 35 cent per call "connection fee" but the per minute rate is 7 cents, on instate or state to state calls.

can you tell me what this 35 cent fee pertains to? i have never heard of a connection fee, is this a one time fee per call on every call?

This is a charge applied to each long distance call in lieu of a monthly plan fee. If you make your LD calls on an alternative carrier such as http://www.onesuite.com , you won't receive a bill from MCI.
