What's the best MCI mileage offer?

I'm looking to switch away from SPRINT. Can anyone tell me what is the best mileage offer by MCI (or even AT&T or others) are now offering.

Thanks.

I love the MileWorkshop, but for some reason the "phone offers" never come close to being the best that are out there. The last time I checked the best offer available (listed on the site) was 5,000 over 6 months.

I was hopiing someone might know of some better offers.

I doubt I'll find the 25K over 6 months again, but 5K hardly seems worth the effort to switch.

I love the Mileage Workshop, for some reason the "phone deals" haven't been all that great lately.

I doubt I'll find 25K over 6 months again, but 5K over 6 months doesn't seem worth the effort of switching.

What I was hoping for is any other offers (hopefully for more miles) that people might have heard about (and some details on how to sign up for them).

Look at a post by "Suzanne" dated 5/17/01 at
4:20PM http://frequentflier.com/cgi-local/index.cgi She claims to have recently received 20,000 miles from MCI for changing
carriers.

Actually, all she says is that she was promised 20,000 miles.

Big difference, IMHO!

Eugene, Fair comment! Are you basing this on
personal experience?

Promised miles are definately not the same as recieved miles. Read this link re: my experience before you deal with MCI/Worldcom.

As the webmaster of Mileage Workshop, I share your frustration on this matter. I would love to post some new "killer deals" for long distance miles but regretfully, there simply has not been any that are verifiable. As soon as something better comes along that I can confirm, I assure you I will update that page of Mileage Workshop.

While I place most of my calls using http://www.onesuite.com/ I always keep an
account with MCI or AT&T for the bonus
programs. I had a call today from MCI wanting
to switch me back from AT&T. After I was offered 5,000 miles to switch, I asked if
a larger milage bonus was available and was
told that at this time, 5,000 was it. When
I said that would not do it, the rep said
some reps offer more miles than this but in actuality 5K was the maximum bonus.

If you get any bonus miles with MCI - be happy!
A flyer promised 5 x 1,000 Delta Sky Miles and I joined MCI.

I received this answer from MCI on my e-mail claim. I called - It means I don't get
any more miles.

Thank you for contacting MCI WorldCom (sm) e-Customer Service.

Records show that our partner department has claimed that this account
has received multiple bonuses. For further detailed information
please contact our partner department at 1-800-754-7076.
