MCI 25K: Multiple Lines/Same Airline

Does any know if you have multiple lines with MCI AND you've gotten mileage before whether you can continue to receive 25K for new lines set up. I've set up service at another address, after having received earlier credits to a two airlines for different numbers, (Delta and United)and was hoping to get new mileage credit with these two new numbers. Does MCI have a policy on not posting miles to a FF account which has received mileage before, maybe under a different phone number?

Thanks!

I have gotten miles at three different address simultanously for the same frequent flier number so I guess the answer is yes. You generally have to have your name on the bill for the change to go through but other than that no problem

My MCI DL 25K finished posting 10 days ago. My mother switched to sprint on their 25K NW promo. I called MCI and told them I would switch unless they could match it.

They did but told me I would have to pick another airline because I had just received mileage in the DL program.

This info would be in your mci account history. I seriously doubt they cross reference or index based on FF account number and be able to tell that a different mci account had earned partner miles.

Go for it!

Thanks for the input. It's my guess that MCI does not cross reference however I will say I've used the same address on three different accounts with some success in posting to separate FF programs but I did NOT always get all my 5K mile increments. In fact, I've signed up my modem, phone, mobile, any numbers I can think of! I'm going for it. Thanks again for the quick response!

You can get miles for more than one line. You just can't set up more than one line at a time.
