Does AT&T wireless work in far Northern WI, such as Minocqua, Rhinelander, Eagle River?

When I was up there in July the service was pretty good in most areas. Some of the longer stretches between cities provided weaker signals though, especially in areas a ways north of Eagle River. Caveat: I was only up there up there a little over 3 days so wasn't able to fully see what the coverage is like. Also, if you use ATT Wireless in this part of WI, hopefully you will have a national plan as ATT only roams there.

scotty00, were you able to receive calls?

Usually I can get out on one of the weak signals, but I never am able to receive.

Unfortunately, what cell companies say they cover rarely is reality, especially has been the case in N WI for me.

Willie,

I wasn't up there too long, but I did receive two calls with no problems, but missed another one that only popped up later on voicemail when I got into an area with a stronger signal (ie: at least two bars of signal).

Lucky you, your latter experience is what I've always experienced, no matter what carrier. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Any feedback from someone who lives in N WI?

Sweet Willie, might want to visit a cellphone forum and ask this question. Howard Chui is a good forum.

now I have this toilet question, is there a toilet forum? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
