Best Current Promo?
What is currently the best promo for switching to ATT (miles or otherwise)? I need to leave MCI and rejoin later for the NWA FFF2 promo, and am looking to pick up a little something for my troubles.

1K miles with CO for 5 months each (total of 5K miles).
http://onepass.continental.com/newpart.htm#attworldnet Also there are several additional promos for switching to online bill payment. e.g. http://www.att.com/starwood/ If you are switching to AT&T and then quickly switching back to MCI - you may not have much luck with these promos. Once you switch away from AT&T they will stop processing of any pending rewards. [This message has been edited by PG (edited 05-09-2002).] |

Unfortunately I have already online-billing and AT&T did not except my online application. Then I tried to cancel the online-billing (and apply again)... did not see anything on the website to cancel?! Any ideas? 2,000 starpoints would be nice. |
Cactuspete:
If and when you switch, cancel ANY AND ALL SERVICES with MCI. Otherwise MCI will still charge you with services (800-number, calling card etc.) you never ordered but MCI installed them for you. |
Also, if you cancel MCI, be prepared for a barage of telemarketing calls. I have caller ID, and any "OUT OF AREA" calls go straight to voicemail. Consequently, I was getting literally 20-30 hangups on my answering machine a day.
Call MCI in advance of cancellation and opt-out of their telemarketing list. cnk |
I was away from att (continental offer) for 3 months, then came back with continental. Rep said that you have to be away 6 months if you want continental again. Of course they did not tell me this when I signed up. Is there a way around this.
Can I sign up for a non continental offer instead. |

Can we sign up with the One Pass promotion for the 5K and then sign up for the 2k Starwood online billing? I would really prefer all Starwood, but don't see any straight sign up bonus with them.

Anyone have a number I can call to sign up for AT&T and starwood points? I don't have a carrier yet. Thanks!
