Domestic to international just below MCT
Hi FTers,
Have a CUZ-LIM-BOG-ZRH return leg which leaves me about 1h25 in LIM to make the domestic to international connection, and 1h45 from international to international in BOG.
How’s the situation in LIM? Is that enough time to make the connection without having to stress too much? CUZ-LIM is operated by LA, LIM-BOG by AV, and BOG-ZRH by WK. I assume bags will be checked all the way through.
I have the option of taking a slightly earlier flight out of CUZ, but it’s then quite early in the morning.
Any recommendation?
thanks!

A few things:
same tkt #? If not, no way.
number of departures from LIM around your time? If many, no way.
positive bags tagged through? If not, no way.
is your flight a LIM turn? Could be delayed.
I would take the early flight and relax in the lounge.

thank for the answer. It’s all ticketed together, yes. I think I might just move CUZ-LIM the evening the day before, chill in the city / near the airport and keep the next flights as is for the next day. Departure from LIM is in the morning (11am)

You can look at the website and if you have the option of taking an early flight you can see if it normally RONs (rests over night). If it does, the flight will go out unless a mechanical/crew problem happens. Certainly a fine dinner is available if you want to overnight LIM.
