Thats a tight connection! Almost like its thesame plane
So, yes.
edit: below comment is correct. In any case a 2 hour turn is probably enough. Im heading to LIM in a couple weeks and can confirm if you arent flying by then.

While it is the same plane, this isn't really an Air Canada question. You would really want to know how the connections process works in LIM. Do they offer International to International connections without having to go through Customs and Immigration formalities? What is transit security like (if it exists), etc etc.

Is there a transit counter that would allow you to go straight to the departure gate without entering Peru?
That is exactly what I was looking for.... but also beneficial to know specifically for AC due to their short time between arrival/departure.

I've done this back in 2016... so it has been a while and the airport procedures may have changed since then. But it was extremely easy. I did not even clear immigration. Got off the plane, followed the signs for transits, and was back up in the terminal within minutes. Of course only works if you don't have checked luggage.

Since this a LIM airport question rather than an AC question, I'm moving this topic to the Peru forum.

i did something similar in LHR. got off the plane and followed the signs to "connections" and then hit the lounge without having to clear customs or anything.

It depends on the airline and airport you are using. Some airlines and airports do allow for same-day return flights, while others do not. It would be best to check with the specific airline you plan to use, or with the airport, to confirm if a same-day return flight is possible.

After some considerable searching, and dated information, it appears, at least in 2007 (lol) there is international transit w/o entering Peru....YMMV
