Cordilleras Blanca and Huayhuash

It’s been more than a decade since I visited Lago Llanganuco and Cañon del Pato from Huaraz, so the next time I wanted to go a little bit further in.

How long does it generally take from the nearest large towns to Laguna Carhuacocha in the Cordillera Huayhuash, and around Alpayamyo in Cordillera Blanca?

Not interested in climbing the mountains, just some nice views.

Do you mean conventional tours, or trekking without climbing? There are lot of trekking webpages, you'll find it in the web.
I've not been in Huayhuash zone but I know it's beautiful. It's more for trekkers and adventure excursions I guess.

Huayhuash is another valley far from the "large towns" around Llanganuco, you must find a hostel within Huayhuash valleys.
