How early do I need to check in at Lima airport?
I have an international flight LIM-PTY by CM. How long in advance do I need to check in?
I just saw a youtube video of an international flight from Cusco, they checked in less than 3 hours, and didn't get their baggage. They need to check in >3hr. Not sure if that's the case in Lima too?

I usually check in 2.5 hours and never had any problem. That lost baggage case may be any mistake.
In my opinion the main issue is to get to the airport. If I have to be at the airport at peak hours, specially evening, even at 10pm, I consider 90 minutes of taxi ride from Miraflores to the airport. It can be faster but you never know. Traffic is unpredictable in Lima.

Sunday morning is the paradise! Silent and very few cars. But 5pm you can find more traffic, though far less than weekdays. I'd calculate 1 hour from Miraflores.
