LIM: Domestic to International Connection
 

Due to a schedule change we now have only 90 minutes to make our connection in LIM. We are on single AA ticket flying JUL-LIM-MIA-BOS with JUL-LIM-MIA on LAN and MIA-BOS on AA.

The flight from JUL-LIM does not have a stellar on time rating and is the last one of the day.

Are there any security or immigration checks or other "stops" when connecting in Lima from domestic to international, or will this be a standard walk from one gate to another?

You exit to the main lobby, then have to go back up escalators to clear security AND passport control. At least your bags will be transferred automatically.

Thanks! That was exactly what I needed to know. I think I will change to an earlier flight in hopes of avoiding a misconnect.
