Didn't look to be honest, we just sucked it up and payed USD. I would assume there is though.

I know some Spanish, not really enough to hold a conversation but enough to communicate my intentions. For example I would say something in Spanish and some of the time I'd understand half the response and have new clue on the other half.

There is an ATM and a currency exchange booth in the baggage claim area before you exit through customs.

USD works fine for taxis. You can exchange money later at a bank.

Yes there are plenty of atms including a Scotiabank one at the arrivals.
