SEA Taxi Rates Rise
 
Just heard on the radio that the meter drop price for a taxi in Seattle rises from $1.80 to $2.00. Also, the mileage rate rises from $1.80 to $2.00. And the flat-rate fee from SEA to a downtown hotel rises from $25 to $28.

I imagine these rates are now in effect, or will be shortly.

Saw this on the news tonight - rate increase begins tomorrow. Another reason to take Metro 194 if you only have a few bags - the bus runs express to downtown every 15 minutes during most of the day ($2.00 one-way during peak time). Best deal in town - and fast!
