Consolidated "Parking at PDX" thread

Next door to Park N Fly at PDX (on NE 82nd) is a Howard Johnson Hotel which allows parking for airport users. It is only $4 per day, and they have a shuttle 24/7. Also, they don't necessarily charge you for another full day if you go slightly over 24 hours. For example, I recently parked Friday evening, with a return Monday evening (greater than 72 hours) and was only charged for 3 days. That's 12 bucks, and no airport concessions or sales tax, for those who are counting.

What a deal!

Where to find out about airport parking PDX

Hi there, we are about to leave from PDX for 10 days and will have to park our car somewhere (secure/shuttle service). Is there a thread about airport parking in general or PDX specifically? Where should I inquire?

Thanks

PDX: long-term parking options with hotel stay

Do any of the PDX airport hotels let you park in their lot for a week if you spend one or two nights there? Trying to avoid calling all the hotels around PDX. Don't mind paying a reasonable fee. Anyone done this?

How about long-term parking fees at the airport (7-8 days)? Found this for $9.50/day: http://www.parkshuttleflypdx.com/coupons/ also this: http://globalairportparking.com/Park...0%20AM&siteid=

TIA

Most of the hotels do. I'm a Marriott guy so I choose between the Residence Inn, Courtyard & Fairfield.
The Residence Inn is my choice. Decent breakfast and evening snacks. They have a shuttle or you can take MAX. Extra days are $5.00

$9.50 a day is only 50 cents per day cheaper than the PDX Economy Lot. I haven't used Park N Fly at PDX but the Economy Lot usually has lots of empty spaces, and shuttle buses run frequently. Not sure I'm willing to risk a private operator just to save a buck or two. Plus with Economy Lot, 7th day is free so depending on the length of your stay you probably come out about even.
