PDX!
What flights/airline are you connecting on through either airport? Int'l or domestic?
My personal vote is for PDX. There is very rarely any delay at PDX for weather (even during winter). PDX has lounges for most of the major carriers (UACO, DL, AS) and excellent F&B options plus no sales tax! There's great shopping at PDX both inside and outside security and easy access to downtown PDX via MAX Light Rail directly from inside the main terminal. The local chamber of commerce helped make PDX a shopping destination, so there's literally a mall both in the airport and immediately adjacent.
So, I guess the questions at the beginning are more important as not many carriers connect through PDX...

On Hawaiian??? How long a layover? Do you have lounge access membership with any carrier? Status with any carrier? Are you traveling alone or with significant other/children?
All things to consider...
Add to the list, PDX has free WiFi and free business corrals located all around both sides of the main terminal.

Well, depending on some still unanswered questions, I'd still vote PDX.
Adults, children, FFs, and seniors will find plenty to eat, shop, drink, and lounge in PDX. As I said before, PDX very rarely experiences any kind of delays, plus the whole airport is one big terminal, so no problems if connecting on a different carrier than the one you fly in on.
Good luck!
