Unhappy Aeromexico - first and middle names joined on confirmation

Hi - I'm flying YVR-MEXICO CITY and then MEXICO CITY TO HAVANA with aeromexico.

I booked with a third party agent. But on my eticket and booking confirmation they have merged my first and middle names together.

When I called the agent they said this was normal practice as there was no field in which to enter a middle name(which I have never experienced) and when i called the airline they could not understand my issue or reassure me it wouldn't be an issue.

Any help or anyone who has experience this would be great.

Normal occurrence for many airlines. Don't stress over it.

Thanks GDL.

Also they have intialed one of my middle names: So instead of Jane Joe Janice Doe, it is

Doe/Janejoej

my guess because the ran out of characters. will this be an issue?

I don't think it will turn into an issue for you. My own middle name is always cut off (not fully spelled) because of the length of both my first and middle being put together. I have never had an issue with AeroMexico or any other airline during check-in because of it.

Safe travels

It happens to me on Asian airlines a lot. First name and then middle initial. Versus first name + middle name altogether.
Not an issue.

Frequently happens to me when booked through my work travel portal (concur), where middle name is adjoined to my first name. Never been an issue. Don't think a middle initial would be either. Only thing that would present an issue would be a misspelling or incorrect name listed that doesn't match your ID / passport.

I changed my name to Joe Joe Joe and no longer have this problem.

Signed, Joe J. Joe.

I am trying to think when airlines were not like this.
