Saudia - Transit visa website issue
Hi,
I booked a Saudia flight with an 11-hour stop in Riyadh with the idea to explore the city.
The problem is when I go to the apply for e-visa section on the Saudia website (https://digital.saudia.com/booking/mmb/mofa-passengers), and select the passengers, I get an error message "We are sorry, There's an unexpected event occurred while processing your request. Please try again later or contact our customer care (E/701)".
When I contacted them they said their website doesn't work for OTA booking and that I need to apply via the Embassy.
Does anyone know what webpage it links to after that step? I couldn't find any other website to apply for this transit visa, and the only other option seems to be to apply for the regular tourist visa for 3x the price.
Thanks

There is a friendly desk at Riyadh open 24 hours issuing the multiple entry 1 year visa inc insurance for 140 USD on arrival to those who comply with conditions, payment only by card. Obviously you need to be able to board on your arrival flight.
The self service visa machines on arrival at RUH are not working but the employee is.

On the face of it the visit Saudi website suggests there are many ways to contact them with queries, social media channels, and even some phone numbers. Might be worth reaching out to them and asking if it's intentionally broken?

I contacted Visit Saudi and they told me to apply through the Enjazit platform, so I filled it out and paid the fees. Then called the embassy in London and was told that they don't accept any applications from individuals and that they would refund me.
Interestingly, Saudia seems to have removed the section about the 100 SAR 48 hour visa from their website now, so seems to be the 535 SAR (with fees) tourist evisa/voa is the only option.
Would be curious to know where this link is leading to, but my booking doesn't let me open it, if anyone has an active booking and can access it:

I went to the link and it took me to the page where you can manage your booking. At the bottom right is the option to apply for a transit e-visa that takes you to the Enjazat website. First attempt gave a bad gateway error then I refreshed the page and it loaded the Enjazat site correctly with my name and passport details prefilled already. I was pretty impressed with how integrated the process was. I didn't proceed with it yet since I don't need a transit visa for my two hour connection.
