Air Namibia discontinues hot meals, drinks, on regional flights
Effective Friday, 22 November, Air Namibia changing it's onboard food offering in economy class:
Regional Flights up to 2.5 hours -No more hot meals -Dry snack with juice and still or sparkling water -No beer, wine, coffee or tea "This change is necessitated by the need for the airline taking a different approach to ensure that product, service levels, and related economics of the value chain are matched." |

But credit to the spin doctors for an imaginative bit of prose ! That said, I really do hope the airline can battle on and survive ; with, perhaps, better days ahead. Flew them short-haul for the first time in September last (albeit in business) and found it to be a good all-round experience in terms of service, catering - and punctuality too. |
