Egyptair exit row - age barrier
I was on Egyptair website trying to reserve specific seats (for a small fee). My choice would have been exit row aisle on the 737-800, but I noted that these seats are "not applicable for passengers over 60 years old". I am closer to 70 than 60 but am able-bodied.
Does anyone have experience with this issue, or know if age is a firm barrier to sitting in the exit row? Is this rule enforced?
The big downside for me would be being removed from the exit row on day of travel and being stuck in a middle seat. Many aisle seats are open now for selection, but I am a bit spoiled by exit row seating on domestic US flights.
