Kenyans says ET strike in ADD dangerous to air traffic control?

HI All,

Seems Kenyan Air Traffic Controllers Association has safety concerns over a strike happening in Ethiopia, affecting air traffic control in Addis Ababa (ADD).
However ET (of course) refuses this.
I know that Kenyans have many reasons to speak badly of ET, as do ET have even more reasons to reject these claims whether true or not.

a) Would you have safety concerns regarding this?
b) Would you predict flight disruptions this coming week? I have a very(!) important flight on Thurs that I cannot miss, transiting in ADD.

Personally I lean towards believing the ET statement is true, that all is under control.

Kenya ATC is complaining about poor coordination? That's rich. Pot and kettle come to mind.

Addis has never been the best FIR out there, but I'd rather fly through there than Nairobi any day of the week, even in the current industrial action.
