Oman air different seats in 787? Pictures?
 

I would like to book a flight from MCT to BKK (WY815 and WY818). However when I look up the seat map I see the flight has 5 rows of 2 - 2 - 2.
I read in different trip reports that you have to look for the aircraft with seat rows from 10 to 15. However on expertflyer I see the rows are numbered from 1 to 5. According to the reports, the aircrafts with numbers from 1 to 5 have other seats than the aircrafts with numbers from 10 to 15.
Is this correct?
Does anyone have a picture of these other seats?

Yes, if the seats are numbered 1-5 in 2-2-2 configuration it is the leased J product from KQ. So it's not the Apex suite but a standard J class flatbed. The picture below is the leased KQ J class flying for WY.

Thanks That is what I was afraid for.

Indeed, these seats seem to feature a lot (although not year-round) on the BKK route &, for a solo traveller, are very poor, with almost no privacy (tiny dividers). This has cost WY a fair amount of lost revenue from myself & Mrs NoY :(

Apologies, I realise that this thread is almost a year old, but I think my question is still valid, and thought it was best to avoid starting a new thread.

Expert flyer is showing my flight as a 787-8, but the EF seat map shows only 3 rows of business class; rows 10 - 12. This doesn't correlate with either of the seat maps discussed above. Is anyone able to comment whether this is the highly regarded Apex suite, or the less well reviewed Kenya Airways lease aircraft?

WY has different versions/configurations of B787, with 5 and 3 rows, in addition with those with first class, each of them has the Apex suite.

KQ took back all the leased AC since months ago; Oman air just leased an A330 from Srilankan beginning of June and is deploying it on the route to Jakarta only.
