Well what had been predicted by some who know Uganda politics, has happened. This may mark the beginning of the end of Uganda Airlines.

I sure won't fly this airline with corrupt bureaucrats running the show.

LOL, but a more optimistic news:
Uganda Airlines will start DXB from Oct 4th, 3x/week (Mon, Fri, Sat). Not all timings are convenient for connecting to East Africa (NBO/DAR/BJM/ZNZ), compared to JNB and Kinshasa.
Fares from/to EBB, less than $400 in eco promo to $1200 in J. slightly more to East Africa, $600 in Y and 1600 in J for JNB.
With Rwanda just reopening its border with Uganda, too bad I've just booked with KLM to Europe.
If UR still exist in December , why not give them a try...
Any updates of the new terminal at EBB?

I haven't been since COVID. Back when the lockdowns began I predicted that Africa would be severely impacted by the lockdowns in the wealthy nations and that has come to pass. I have to send money to my extended family in Africa so they can survive. I don't know when business will come back and me along with it.
