Aseman Iran experience & airliner update
 

I was quite excited and a bit apprehensive while waiting for domestic Aseman Iran flight (flying on a twin turbo fan Fokker 100) which turn out quite positive. On time departure/arrival, overall ok condition of AC, above average seat pitch on a higher than ME standard leg room space.
Iran Aseman tickets have to be purchased directly at airliner sales office, airport or agency. No Online agency can book for you nor 3Party online.. Website only in Persian and you need local currency / card as Visa/Mastercard/Amex are not accepted in country or e-commerce.

Not really. I booked through apochi.nl of Aseman's tickets this March.
More expensive than booking domestically though.

thanks for correcting and good to know. Heard about this Dutch platform, which started to seen being promoted in Iran travel groups but didnt come across anyone who book Iran carriers so good news!

My tickets were purchased in theirs DXB office and cost 2.5x more than locally but that was expected.

For, destinia.ir allows booking at local prices.
But avoid "special flights" tagged proposal from the search engine as flight confirmation can't go through.
Payment with international credit card possible.
