No. Google flights is wrong.

The Max are either standard recliner seats in Cloud Nine, or all-economy (only ET-BAS/T/U).

For whatever reason, the Saturday JFK flights (ET512/513) have been getting flat bed seats pretty consistently. It's not 100% but pretty close.

Extra legroom but fixed armrests.

The exit row (row 18 particularly) is better as it has extra legroom, but also movable armrests and also reclines (unlike row 17).

Also extra legroom. Also fixed armrests. And row 18 still is more comfortable if you ask me

I am about to book a flight to WDH for November, operated by a 787-8. I would like to avoid an angled seat, but I suppose there's no way to know what type of seat I'll have?

ADD-WDH is <6h long and during the daytime, so IMHO an angled flat seat is not the worst thing in the world. If the angled flat position is uncomfortable or unnatural, I usually have success getting comfortable and taking a 2-3h nap in a lazy boy reclined position.

ADD-YYZ - A350 - any idea how they handle equipment swap from 2-2-2 to 1-2-1 seats

Hi travellers, I'm trying to figure out seat configuration for ET552 flight, Addis Ababa to Toronto. It seems that ET sometimes uses 2-2-2 seat configuration for business class, sometimes 1-2-1. Number of seat on both versions are the same - 30. But they sell all as 2-2-2. And looking at how these structured - there are more central isle seats in 1-2-1 configuration, and less window seats. Any idea what rules they use to re-assign seats?

They use the SABRE Auto Seat Restore AI module for this - it is fully automated.

Does this cause 2 people on the same PNR to be moved into adjacent seats as part of its processing?
