Ethiopian Airlines 787-800 dreamliner?
Looking to get to SEZ on Ethiopian Airlines. I believe it is the only star alliance partner that takes you to SEZ correct? Anyways, did a search on the star alliance website and it has IAD-ADD listed as a "787-8". The date I searched was June 20, 2013.

Does anyone know if this is true? Also can anyone tell me how Ethiopian airlines is?

Yes, Ethiopian is the first African airline to have the 787. I've only flown them once...two years ago from FCO to ADD, but I thoroughly enjoyed them. Great crew and really good food.

I'm pretty sure ET 788's won't go too soon to SEZ, but who knows...

Sorry, didn't mean when will they start the SEZ route... meant when will they start the IAD-ADD route? Also has anybody flown ET from ADD to LHR? How was it?

They are operating 788's to IAD, into the 3rd month now...

They are pulling the 787 from IAD for 2 months. Who knows whether it will be there in June 2013

Frankfurt eff 27OCT12
Toronto eff 09NOV12

Planned daily 787 service to Mumbai from 25NOV12, is cancelled.

ET502 ADD2230 – 0340+1FCO0440+1 – 0810+1YYZ 788 15
ET503 YYZ1100 – 0820+1ADD 788 26

I flying JNB to ADD on the 787 on Jan 9. Originally when I booked they couldn't assign me a seat (I was an award ticket in Biz - they told me the plane wasn't confirmed yet), but last week I called back and got 2A & 2C.

ET has 3 787's as of October 2012 - 7 more on order.
