question re Kulula check-in/seating
 
I'll be traveling JNB-CPT on Kulula in the next week or two on a Tuesday 10am flight. I've traveled in South Africa before but never on Kulula. Suggested check-in is 90 minutes. It seems that online check-in is not possible. Is checking-in 45-60 minutes in advance sufficient? What are security lines like for the Kulula gates at that time of day? Also, any advice for snagging an exit row seat? Many thanks. I'd normally travel on BA/Comair but Kulula was half the price.....$55. Cant beat that. :cool:

Security is not gate or airline specific, it is all done at the entrance to domestic departures. Mid-morning on a Tuesday I should expect it to be a breeze, maybe two or three minutes, five at most. You never know, though, it takes only one idiot to completely gum up the system.
