LaQuinta's shouldnt count as a program
I'm sitting in a LaQuinta now, looking at their program. It seems you can get a free night with 11,000 points. 20 nights @$60 would get you a free night, so would 15 nights at $80 would get you a free night. That doesnt seem to be much of a program.

Well... rewards do start at 6,000 points... so its about half as hard to earn a night as you thought... :p
But it does depend on property location... |
The last quarter of 2008 they were offering either 1,000 or 2,000 bonus points with bookings. When you factor those in, it could be a good program for you. I have over 12,000 points and have only done 7 nights total with them, most on a road trip to Washington state.

If you booked your stays at La Quinta on Hotels.com, your 20 nights at $60 per night would earn you two free nights virtually anywhere, worth up to $400 per night. So instead of a single $80 value room through LQ.com, you would get up to a $800 value.
Hotels.com reward program is under appreciated. |
