Using previous guest's promo code
 

Hi,

i am planning a trip to Vegas in december and searched the web for promotion codes for Bellagio...I found one, which is $30/night less than their site offers (adds up for a 5 night stay ;)
Turns out this promo code is only sent to guests who previously stayed at Bellagio. (I've never stayed there myself)
I was able to use this code online to get the discounted rate (but haven't completed the reservation process yet). I am wondering...if I use this code to book online and they realize upon my chec- in that I haven't previously stayed at Bellagio, will then still honor the promo rate or will they charge me full regular price instead?
Has anyone ever used promo codes which were not sent to them directly?
