Loews Hotels: Does LoewsFirst Comp?
 

Their Platinum level includes confirmed suite upgrades at bookings and is achieved after only 10 stays or 15 nights. So not hard to reach on its own.

Of course there aren't that many Loews Hotels.

The interesting thing is the way they market their pet friendly policies. And I do occasionally travel with my little Yorkshire Terrier (he's never yet flown coach).

So... anyone know if Loews offers a status match?

For what it's worth, I was comped to Gold this summer using comparable Starwood membership as proof. Can't answer as to Plat, but a phone call to them can't hurt.

Not any longer, no. Call 1-800-LOEWS-12, tell them you are seeking a status match and they will tell you what you need, and to whom to fax the information. Response was same day for me.

I called a few weeks ago, faxed in the info (Hhonors Gold), and heard nothing - until my LoewsFirst Gold card showed up last week.

Curiously, although I can log onto my account at LoewsFirst.com, it only shows my account number, but does not indicate status (Blue, Gold, or Platinum).

Since I'm Diamond with HH and Plat with SPG, I'll give them a call and try to get comp to their Plat level...I'll keep you all posted.
