Comp elite status?
 

Help!! I've finally had it with Hilton, been a HHonors Diamond member since 1998 but can't take their incompetence and rude treatment anymore. Anyone here know whether Fairmont comps elite status to those with elite status at other hotels? Thanks

I just called them on the phone and they said they do not comp elite status it must be earned.

Does anyone else know? The on-line signup does have a field to enter a promotion code.
