Is LHW Sterling Worth it?
 
I will end up like $300 or $400 shy of $5,000 for the year, should I book one night at an LHW property before EOY to get over the line to Sterling? I have a lot more travel booked with LHW for '20, so would the bump in status above Leaders Club on those stays be worth one extra night in '19? Anyone feel Sterling offers appreciable benefits over Leaders Club? For the record, as a Leaders Club member, I've been upgraded on every LHW stay for the last 2 years save except one.

I am also wondering whether the Sterling status makes any sense. It's quite hard to reach and you don't gain much: 5% more points and 5 pre-arrival updgrades. To me, it's not worth it. I also had an upgrade every time this year without Sterling.


Did you get the status for 2020? If yes, it would be interesting to hear your experience during 2020 :D
