Well, another quarter has passed and no updates on integration. At this point I'm assuming that it'll be the status quo for 2016 and new things may be in store for us for 2017.

Kimpton & IHG Integration
You’re right about the status quo, dw.
2016 will be Kimpton Karma Rewards as usual, with lots in store for 2017 as we continue to work on integration with IHG Rewards Club.
More info will be coming over the summer but, until then, I’m here to answer any questions as best I can.
Happy travels!
Susan

Thank You for the update Susan.
Really hoping we still see the excellent benefits such as Raid the Bar/Minibar continue and wine hour of course.
It would be nice however to be able to view IHG points for reward bookings at Kimpton hotels.

So now that another quarter has passed... I am really hoping we receive some updates soon on what is in store for 2017.
As the summer winds down, I am sure many of us will be examining our stay patterns for the rest of the year and making decisions on where to steer stays for (re)qualification of various status tiers for next year.

The change is so subtle I didn't even notice until today... But has anyone else noticed that Kimpton's logo has been tweaked a bit? (Slightly less "fun" typeface than before.) Looks like it may have happened way back in May, as that's when their Facebook page updated their logo.

Interview with SVP Marketing & Brand for Kimpton makes it sound like further evidence that Kimpton is being groomed to be a 'luxury' brand within IHG

I don't know if I buy off on Kimpton slotting in the 4 1/2 star category, but thats what this sounds like what IHG is going for. Also tiny tidbit it sounds like in addition to Europe they're aiming for South America (I honestly would've expected them to try and go urban-Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, etc)

I was just doing a hotel search on IHG, and for the first time I saw a Kimpton hotel show up. Now, it didn't show rates at that hotel, and it told me to go to Kimpton to make the reservation (it had a link), but it did show up on the hotel results list. So that's a first step at integration, I guess.
