The only chain hotel in my better half's hometown is part of the Country Hearth Inn & Suites (http://www.countryhearth.com/). The particular location we stay at is not quite as nice as a Holiday Inn Express, but is considerably nicer than some Choice properties I've stayed at. It also has a very reasonable pet policy, which is a plus for us.

The Country Hearth chain is apparently one of the chains that are part of the Best Rest Rewards program:

The other chains in this program are Vagabond Inn, Vagabond Inn Executive, Budgetel Inns & Suites, America's Best Inns & Suites and the 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts.

Does anyone know anything about this program? Is it worth signing up for?

(Apologies if advance if this a dupe, but I did a couple of searches of FT and wasn't able to find any past threads. :confused:)

I was looking for some info on what loyalty program is associated with Vagabond Inn and came upon this old thread. Apparently BestRestRewards.com no longer exists and from what I can gather on the VagabondInn.com page, it looks like they're adopting a simple "every tenth night is free" approach to loyalty.

As it's a fairly small regional chain, it might be more useful for travelers if they affiliated with a larger, more established loyalty program, IMHO.
