Missing OK points on B2 Codeshare from Minsk to Prague
Am i entitled to receive my missing 750 points?
Did you buy the ticket with the B2 or OK flight number? If OK you are entitled to the miles by my reading of the website (all flights designated OK). If the ticket had a B2 flight I would assume that you are not entitled to miles but may want to submit the claim and see what happens. The OK Plus service center has been very responsive to my requests, although I have never tried to claim anything that was not Skyteam metal.
If the flights was purchased with OK-numbers you should get the points. The great thing about OK+ is that they award based on marketing carrier, so I have gotten points on flights operated by non-partners as long as they were bought as Skyteam flights.
It's purchased with Ok-numbers. I have received the points for the outgoing OK-operated: PRG-MSQ flight. The return was operated by B2. Maybe it takes some time to get it send via the Belavia system? My flight was on the 04/07.
In that case I would start the claim process. I have found that I have to claim about 1 in 5 non-OK operated flights manually.
Il give it a try and see what happens.
NB: "Belavia Belarusian Airlines has announced the official start of Belavia Leader Program for the frequent flying passengers on June 10, 2009." (http://www.belavia.by/bag.htm) Maybe this will influence the allready standing structures with OK? |
Sometimes these points from codeshares take long to post. After I had flown AMS-PRG-KBP-PRG-AMS last year the points for all legs except KBP-PRG (a VV codeshare) were posted the day after I returned to Amsterdam. The points on KBP-PRG arrived after seven weeks. And given the technological state of KBP that is about par for the course. Now at least in KBP they have heating, more than you can say about MSQ, so I would give it another month or so.

To be honest i really didn't expect anything from MSQ. When you wait at the CI-counter and have to knock on a door to enter(Is there anyone here, can i enter now?!), having every iteem in your baggage searched in detail, beeing asked for you passport a minimum of four times before entering the plane, and offcourse beeing ripped off your last BYR roubles in the tax-free shop, you can't really expect them to post your Ok-points in a few weeks! If i get them before christmas a should really keep my mouth shut!;)
