OK A310 goes mechanical

CSA (OK)

Regular flight between PRG and JFK on A310-300 returned twice to PRG due to mechanical trouble over the weekend, resulting in a 28 hour delay. The passengers are entitled to EUR 600.

Those A310s are getting old and - in my opinion - now almost as bad as A300.

I am not paranoid but I'd rather not fly A300s, or DC10s and MD11s for that matter. A310s are borderline, I guess I would still go.

On the other hand, I love A319s, 320s, 321s and 330s. When I travel to PRG from YUL, I usually route myself via FRA on Air Canada, flying on A330 in winter and B767-300 in summer.

Anybody on that delayed flight?

I wasn't on that flight, but also heard that the compensation was 600EUR.
The snowstorm that came the very next day must have been alot of fun, since they closed Ruzyne.

I got the info from the Czech newspaper on Monday. It was quite a story with some passengers being interviewed. The snowstorm did not help.
