Is SkyExpress that bad?
We needed to book FCO-CHQ in September and the only reasonable option was GQ. Now that I am reading some of the reviews I am cringing for choosing them. Are they really that bad? Especially they seem to have a bad record with baggage handling?

Answering my own question after 3 flights with SkyExpress, last week - FCO-ATH-CHQ and CHQ-ATH.
No - it is not bad - based on my experiences with them.
They got us to where we needed to be - with our luggage. And whole experience from check in, airport, flight, baggage claim etc. being fairly adequate.
However - all flights were late, about 30-40min; and there was no single announcement at the gate or update at the monitor at the airport. FCO/ATH/CHQ e.g. boarding time for a 3pm flight out of Chania ended up starting at 3:30pm - when it was supposed to be 2:20pm - and a lot of people were queuing up at the gate not knowing what is going on since the monitor was indicating on time. I was monitoring the incoming flight on flightaware so I knew that there would be a delay - but it was obviously stressful for the rest of the people at the gate not knowing what was going on - especially for those with connections.
