Norwegian at LHR

Norwegian Air UK have been given slots at Heathrow. Any ideas of likely routes?

Picked up on one mile at a time

6 slots = 3 flights a week as you need a slot to land and take off.

As to what they want to do with them who knows? Am not sure even they know!

Irregular service is not the way to pick up passengers and depending on which days they have been allocated might not give a good trip length to encourage leisure flyers.

No idea but hereís my guess.

The most logical to me would be LHR-JFK, flying a W pattern with LGW (LHR-JFK-LGW-JFK-LGW-JFK-LHR). Itís probably DIís most profitable route and assuming the interline with B6 is implemented there could be connecting feed to boost yields.

Also, a lot of us Americans (wrongly) regard Gatwick as a sub-standard airport. Attracting fliers with the LHR route, getting them hooked to DI so theyíll book them up LGW next time could be beneficial.
