It depends what is your definition of frequent flyer

If you fly once a year , yes , you are not a frequent flyer

If you plan 4/6 weekends away in european cities per year yes you are a frequent flyer and the wizz discount club is a good idea

It can be helpful , especially with reduced fees and during summer

i'm not a frequent flyer.
When i purchsed fly tickets WIZZ sujested to become a member and it made the ticket cheaper, even though i didn't plan to fly again with them.
i became a member then. i'm wondering what's the catch.

There isn't really a catch. In my experience 2 flights is usually enough to make it pay off. They simply hope that once you're WDC you'll be that much more likely to book Wizz rather than one of the other LCC airlines. With the low cost airlines, 99% of the decision is based on price so if they make the discounted flights cheaper they have your business.

i purchsed only one flight (2 tickets) and in total, it reduced the price.
Thats way im asking, beacuse it seems it pays with only one flight.

Sure. If you're booking 2 tickets then it can also pay off with a single flight.

The point is that there's no catch here. It's a promo aimed at capturing customers in a market that is highly price sensitive. If it didn't make sense for them they wouldn't do it. They hope that once you've become a WDC member you'll be that much more likely to fly with them in future.

In the UK, Wizz is still a lot less widely known among the general public than Ryanair and Easyjet, so this is one way of trying to increase their share of the LCC market.
