Jet2
A friend of mine flew Jet 2, and tried to online check-in 2 hours before the flight, but the screen said that checkin online has closed, and can be done in the airport for no extra charge. But when he checked in, they charged him for airport check in.
Is this normal? Is a complaint due?

closing online checkin 5 hours before departure is a bit nasty ... with Ryanair it closes just 2 hours beforehand.
