Please help - Norwegian Air charge no show fee?
 

I booked both ticket for myself and my wife on Norwegian Air from Fort Lauderdale to Stockholm in early December for a week,... due to new job offer for my wife, my wife can't take a week off and her new employer said either take the job offer or you go your vacation and they will find someone else.

The situation is that we booked the low fare and if we ask for a date\time change it will end up costing the same as buying a new ticket (just to change the date to travel next year). For some reason the change fare cost is the same as new ticket cost on Norwegian Air website... They don't give you any credit on the ticket price you paid.

My question is if I decide to travel alone (since we already pay for hotel as well), and my wife is on the same itinerary, will I be having problem traveling alone? Or Does Norwegian going to charge her for no show?

I wish I could change the date but I guess I have no choice but to travel alone or lose the entire round trip ticket for both of us and hotel value since all of them are non refundable.

Please advice if anyone have experience with this.

Is the economy still so bad in the US that this is even a question? Unless it's your absolute dream job, take the flights and tell the employer to shove it. :)

If you show and your wife doesn't, you should be fine. Her ticket and fare paid is toast though.

It's your call, but I can't imagine that December in Stockholm on your own whilst your wife is at work would be much fun. I'd just chalk it up to experience.
