Connection time needed in KEF (customs)?

planning on flying CDG-KEF-ANC this summer. There are two options. One has a layover time 1:25 and the other has a layover time of 7:40. Both flights are obviously on FI, but not sure if I would need to clear customs in KEF. My gut tells me 1:25 isn't enough time but I figured I would ask if anyone knew.

FWIW, Tight connection in question is a Sunday flight. Departs CDG 2:15pm Arrives KEF 3:45pm, Departs KEF 5:10PM, arrives ANC 4:20PM.

The MCT is just 25 minutes, so it is not a "tight connection":

That is plenty of time. KEF is a fairly small airport, with a total of perhaps 12 gates. You can walk from one end to the other in 10 min.

As your bags will be checked thru, you don't go through customs. You will go thru immigration, to clear outbound from Schengen, and you may have a 5-10 min wait in line to get to an available passport control booth, but the actual process is a quick document check, and you are done (20 secs).

You will have time to shop duty free, if you so desire, or have a quick snack in the terminal, and taste some local treats. Plenty of time to make the connection.

Here is a link to a photo of the entire terminal, very compact for an intl connection.

As others have posted earlier, a 1:25 connection at KEF is actually a long connection time. You will be absolutely fine. I would encourage you to make the short walk to the main shopping area of the terminal rather than stay just by the gates. There's great shopping there ... On the other hand, if you take the morning flight from Paris, you could pop into Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon...

How old is that screen. I believe their last flight to BWI was well over a decade ago. They now serve IAD.

The screen itself is real-time, but it's up to FI to update their data.
