Total Rewards Alliances booking
I just made a car rental booking at the Kansas City airport on 4/9 - 4/11 with TR Alliances website and they didn't charge me any taxes. I thought this to good to be true so I called and explained that all the regular websites (Alamo.com; Enterprise.com; etc.) had $30 - $50 in taxes and fees and how could they possibly make this booking without all of those fees. The CSR said that that is a benefit of booking through them and the taxes and fees are included in the rate. I got a compact car for $29.57 in total. I did have to prepay.
Anyone else ever used this booking site? (TR alliances is Ceasars casinos)

It looks like you have to be a member of the Total Rewards club. In IL you are not allowed to sign up online. I don't know about other states. If you are by any Ceasars brand Casino you can sign up there.
1 ) Go to TotalRewards.com and create your online profile and sign in.
2 ) Towards the top of the page when you are logged in, click on "earn and redeem".
3 ) Just below the menu where "earn and redeem" was listed, is another submenu. Click on "With TR Alliances".
4 ) Scroll down to the middle of the page and click on "Learn more" under the "TR Getaways" tile.
5 ) Right after the first couple paragraphs there is an orange button. Click on the "Enter TR Getaways" button.
6 ) From this point you can figure it out. It looks like any other booking site with the square on the side to choose dates, air/car/hotel/etc...
I am not sure if all of the rental companies have waived taxes and fees. The two that I looked at (The two cheapest by far), were Thrifty, and Dollar rent a car.
Lemme know how it works out for ya!

Thanks for the direction...
they don't make it easy to find those booking options, but your direction was perfect... I tried comparing a number of car reservations that I already have, and found the rates on the Total Rewards site quite high and non-competitive, but thanks again for your assistance! btw, I live in Vegas and checked their hotel rates against rates that I know are available over the next week, and again found the rates on the site as quite high and non-competitive. So it's not a site I'll be checking in the future.

Well my Kansas city car rental was exactly the same rate of $14/day but without the $30 in taxes and fees so hopefully it works out for me. I already prepaid. I just hope they don't tack on taxes and fees at the counter. I will find out in mid April.
I did notice when playing around with the dates before I made the reservation that the weekday rental rates were quite high.
