Enterprise survey - USC.edu?
 

I received this survey email from Enterprise, which is correct because I did have a rental recently at LAX... however, the sender email address is puzzling - USC.edu?
It landed in my Spam folder as a result..

I'd steer clear of that one. I mean, it's possible that Enterprise contracts with USC to conduct surveys. But...does the email provide any specifics about your rental other than the fact that it was at LAX? Because that'd be an easy guess for phishing scams...there must be thousands of people at any given time who've had a "recent rental car experience" at LAX.

No, it only mentioned LAX.. and the timing was pretty much the day after the rental return. All the links in the e-mail point back to Reputation.com, which is a legit company (This American Life, anyone? ;))

Well, I don't really see that there's anything in it for you in terms of actually clicking through and answering it. But unless they start asking for your CC number or other personal info, it's probably not going to hurt, either. I've gotten quite a few Enterprise customer surveys in the past, but it's always been via the phone.
